Using Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, this book compiles both general English (GE) and aviation English (AE) materials. The general English discusses about some language functions the students require in order for them to be able to comprehend the AE materials. The GE is aimed to perfect students GE competence prior to being exposed to the AE materials. Thus, GE materials are closely related to works the aviation staff deal with, such as giving information, thanking, greeting, instructing, describing thing, objects, places, asking for and telling prices, apologizing, giving reasons, and telling promise and actions. The AE includes the use of those language functions coincided with situation and activities done at airport as well as other specific things, such as telling delayed flight, telling and handling lost baggage, as well as giving announcement at any setting.
